According to the Notice of the Office of the Education Department of Liaoning Province on Holding the First "Huayu Cup" Online Composition Competition for Primary School Students in Liaoning Province (document of Liaoning Education Department (2009) 17), Liaoning Education Department, Liaoning Century Huayu Culture Development Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Children's Publishing House held the first "Huayu Cup" online composition competition for primary school students in Liaoning Province. The results of the awards are now announced as follows:

After four months of initial evaluation, re-evaluation and final evaluation by the expert group, 296 students including Yu Jianhua won the first prize, 44 students including Chen Jiazi1/kloc-0 won the second prize, 3425 students including Yang Rui won the third prize, 5290 students including Ji Jiayi won the excellent prize, and more than 2000 teachers including Li Yanxia won the guidance prize.

The activity received positive response from education departments at all levels in the province.
