Shenzhen Institute of International Education was established in 2003. It is a full-time international high school authorized by the Department of International Assessment (CAIE) and edexcel of Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, and also authorized by the AP course of American University Council.
Shen Guo School is an accredited school of the International School Alliance (CIS), a WASC accredited school of the American Western School and College Education Alliance, a member school of the East Asian Council of International Schools (EARCOS) and the Asian English Schools Foundation (FOBISIA).
In 2003, it was approved by Shenzhen Education Bureau. Formerly known as "Shenzhen Institute of Education International Exchange", 20 1 1 was renamed as "Shenzhen Institute of International Exchange". In 2023, the school was renamed "Shenzhen Institute of International Exchange" or "SCIE" for short.
