During the cooperation between UNICEF and the Ministry of Education in 200012005, "child-friendly schools" became one aspect of the project of "Basic Education and Early Care in Poverty-stricken Areas", and pilot projects of "child-friendly schools" were launched in Inner Mongolia, Chongqing, Guangxi and other places, trying to build child-friendly schools with the construction of teachers as the starting point. Practice shows that these pilot schools have changed their original appearance to some extent and achieved certain results by participating in project activities and independent inquiry.
