Free education for normal students

In 2007, six normal universities under the Ministry of Education tried out free education for normal students. On August 18, the General Office of the State Council forwarded the Implementation Measures of Free Education for Normal University Students directly under the Ministry of Education to other departments, marking the upgrade of free education for normal university students in China to "free education" in the new period.
