Language art is a multi-branch research field, which spans many majors and involves many disciplines. At present, the research in this field at home and abroad is almost classified, and there is no comprehensive study of language art. In today's society, our language development is in a prosperous period. Language activities such as speaking, reciting, speaking, broadcasting and hosting are faced with an unavoidable task of popularizing education, improving the level and moving towards art. Colleges and universities have the responsibility, and art colleges are duty-bound to undertake the heavy responsibility of popularizing national language and art education. The establishment of art research center can concentrate the scientific research strength of the whole hospital to conduct comprehensive research on language art.

Guizhou Writing Society was founded in 1982. The purpose of establishing this society is to promote the theoretical research of writing in colleges and universities and promote the popularization and development of writing activities in the whole society. With the aim of "prospering Guizhou and enriching the people", the members are mainly writing teachers in colleges and universities, supplemented by propaganda department personnel at all levels, journalists and editors. At present, there are more than 600 members.

After the establishment of the society, it was repeatedly rated as the advanced society in the province by the Provincial Social Science Association, and was commended for its fruitful activities. The Society organized inter-provincial academic seminars on writing, such as Yunnan-Guichuan academic seminar, Qinghai-Chongqing-Guizhou academic seminar, Guizhou-Hebei academic seminar and Guizhou-Guangdong academic seminar. In order to serve the development of Guizhou, the society holds an academic seminar every year. The society compiled a large-scale book "Enterprise Spring and Autumn" to publicize more than 2,000 enterprises in Guizhou; In recent years, in order to cooperate with the strategy of promoting Guizhou and building Guizhou into a major tourist province, the Society has planned a series of tourism prose series "Walking into Yelang's Hometown", which has collected essays from more than 40 counties and cities, and the Society has also founded the publication "Writing the World".

At the beginning of the establishment of the association, because the leaders of the association were mainly teachers of Guizhou Normal University, they belonged to Guizhou Normal University. Later, President Wang Qiangmo and Secretary-General Yuan were transferred to Guizhou Institute of Education, which was affiliated to Guizhou Institute of Education (now renamed Guizhou Normal University). Most of the leaders of the club are writing teachers in our college. For example, Professor Wang Qiangmo is the first to fourth president, Professor Yuan is the fifth president, Professor Wu is the vice president and secretary general, and Professor Xu Jiru is the secretary general. Most of the main leaders of the society come from our college, which has played a beneficial role in promoting writing teaching and theoretical research in our college.
