Since 1997 "Science and Technology Management" magazine published Wu Shulian's evaluation of China University every year, Tsinghua University has been ranked first for 1 1 year. Tsinghua, Peking University and Zhejiang University have maintained the top three in China University for eight consecutive years with stable advantages. The top 10 universities are: 4th Shanghai Jiaotong University, 5th Nanjing University, 6th Fudan University, 7th Huazhong University of Science and Technology, 8th Wuhan University, 9th Jilin University,10xxi Jiaotong University. Compared with 10 a year ago, the top four places remain unchanged, and the seventh, eighth and ninth places remain unchanged. Nanjing University rose from sixth place to fifth place, Fudan University fell from fifth place to sixth place, before Xi Jiaotong University entered 10, and before Sun Yat-sen University entered 10.

At the same time, the research group "Evaluation of China University" has finished the ranking of natural science and social science in universities, as well as eleven disciplines such as science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, philosophy, economics, law, teaching, literature, history and management. Tsinghua University won the first prize in engineering, Peking University won the first prize in science, medicine, philosophy, law and literature, China Agricultural University won the first prize in agriculture, China Renmin University won the first prize in economics, Beijing Normal University won the first prize in education, history and Xi Jiaotong University won the first prize in management.

The research group also ranked more than 200 undergraduate majors in China University, and the number of the first undergraduate majors in Peking University and Tsinghua was significantly ahead of other universities.

Traditional Chinese medicine in the catalogue of undergraduate majors includes basic medicine, preventive medicine, clinical medicine and medical technology, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, forensic medicine, nursing and pharmacy, with a total of 16 undergraduate majors.

According to the statistics published by the State Council Academic Degree Office, the number of universities in China awarded bachelor of medicine accounted for 8. 16%, master of medicine accounted for 12.05%, and doctor of medicine accounted for 16.53%. According to the statistics of doctoral tutors published by the Department of College Students of the Ministry of Education, among the 37,078 doctoral tutors in colleges and universities nationwide, 5 147 are medical doctoral tutors, accounting for 13.88% of the total number of doctoral tutors. In 2006, there were 198 universities offering medical specialties.
