Basketball, as a collective sport, requires each participant to have a sense of responsibility, accomplishment and belonging, so as to give full play to the wisdom and strength of the team for training and competition. The cultivation of middle school basketball players should combine the physiological and psychological characteristics of middle school students. In addition to the necessary technical skills training, it is particularly important to train students' ideological and moral cultivation through moral education.
First, the physical and psychological characteristics of middle school students and the problems in basketball training and competition
1. Physiological characteristics of middle school students
The neural process of middle school students is unbalanced in excitement and inhibition, with excitement dominating, easy to spread and differentiate, and poor inhibition. After entering adolescence, due to the changes of endocrine activities, gonadal activities are strengthened, the stability of the nervous system is affected, and the ability to master motor coordination is temporarily reduced. Small muscle cross-sectional area, slender muscle fibers, high water content, less protein and inorganic salts, poor muscle strength and endurance, and easy to fatigue. The myocardial fibers are thin, the myocardial contractility is weak, the heart rate is fast, and the cardiac output per stroke is lower than that of adults. When practicing, the quantity and intensity should be gradual.
2. Psychological characteristics of middle school students
Middle school students have poor control over their emotions and emotions. For example, if they win a team competition, they will be "carried away" and cheer for joy, and they will be depressed and lose confidence because of a temporary failure. They have strong personality, unstable psychological quality and poor endurance, and most of them are timid. They go to extremes in dealing with problems, regardless of the consequences, but the will quality of most middle school students is plastic. As long as teachers or coaches guide them correctly, it is easy for them to develop good emotions and feelings, and cultivate their sense of friendship, collective honor and responsibility.
3. Middle school students' performance in school at ordinary times
The induction and summary of typical basketball players' performance in school in the past four years;
As can be seen from the above table, (1) the overall academic performance is poor, and most students do not study hard and are lax. (2) Bad ideological style, sometimes falling in love. (3) grumpy, undisciplined, fighting and the like happen from time to time. (4) Training is serious, but there are exceptions. (5) Poor self-restraint and serious violation of discipline.
4. Some problems in basketball training and competition for middle school students?
(1) The training goal is unclear and lacks spiritual motivation.
Middle school basketball players will appear in training or competition due to the immature influence of physiology and psychology. For example, some players think that they have comprehensive skills and lack interest in basic technical and tactical exercises. Or think that practicing basic skills is too boring, not as exciting as competition, thus putting on airs and perfunctory things in training, resulting in unhealthy phenomena such as incomplete basketball skills and irregular movements.
(2) Individualism affects team combat effectiveness.
Being good at expressing oneself is a psychological characteristic of middle school students, and there are often cases of going it alone in competitions. Due to the lack of comprehensive skills, blind dribbling always fails, which not only affects the level of the whole team, but also makes the players feel bored and disgusted.
(3) Malicious attacks on referees or opposing players
It can often be learned from the media that in ball games, especially football games, some athletes beat referees or two players fight, and vicious incidents like this also exist in middle school students' basketball games to some extent. The reason is that the coach or the person in charge is ineffective in managing the players and lacks ideological and moral education for the players.
Second, the importance of education for the training of middle school basketball players
1. Moral education can enhance middle school students' sense of collective honor.
Basketball, as a team project, relies on the tacit cooperation between players and achieves its goals through collective organization. It is the unity of individual and collective. Middle school students' emotional will quality is very plastic, and it is easy to feel the collective atmosphere from the competition. Through the education of their moral quality, they can pin their feelings on the collective to which they belong, thus enhancing their sense of collective honor. Middle school students are the most vulnerable group to moral education, so that they can firmly establish a sense of collective honor and responsibility from adolescence, which has a great influence on their feelings after adulthood. An excellent basketball player cannot do without their excellent moral and psychological qualities. In the history of NBA, the reason why Jordan and his bulls can't meet each other is that the tacit understanding between Jordan and his players has reached a high level, and each of them has a strong sense of collective honor and responsibility, which makes the bulls condense into a magical force and finally creates a myth in the history of NBA. It can be seen that moral education can not be ignored in the basic training of basketball players.
2. Moral education enhances the cohesion of middle school students' basketball team.
Cohesion refers to the attraction of a group to its members and plays an important role in group events, such as basketball. Middle school basketball players have not mastered the skills comprehensively enough, so they should give full play to team cohesion and win the game with overall strength.
(1) Cohesion is the premise of the collective function of basketball team.
A basketball team has strong cohesion, which is attractive to its members, coaches and players. Players and players agree and have a good spirit of unity and cooperation, then the basketball team will play a great role.
(2) Cohesion is an important guarantee to achieve the goal of the basketball team.
The establishment and realization of the goal of basketball team need the participation of coaches and players. As long as they work together in Qi Xin, the goal can be achieved smoothly. On the contrary, if they don't get along well and go their own way, they can't achieve their goals.
(3) Cohesion is a necessary condition to improve the efficiency of basketball team.
Basketball tactics are accomplished through collective close cooperation, coordination and tacit understanding. Any purposeful and predictable tactical action can only play a role through the cooperation of more than two people. If people are divided and disunited, players on the field don't cooperate with each other, don't cooperate closely, don't create offensive opportunities for themselves or organize strict defense, such a basketball team can't win the game.
