1, concept

The National Computer Rank Examination (NCRE) is a national computer proficiency examination system approved by the former State Education Commission (now the Ministry of Education) and sponsored by the Education Examinations Institute of the Ministry of Education. It faces the society and is used to test candidates' computer application knowledge and skills.

2, the nature of the exam

The Education Examinations Institute of the Ministry of Education introduced NCRE to the society through 1994. Its purpose is to promote learning by examination, popularize computer knowledge to the society, and provide a unified, objective and fair standard for the recruitment and assessment of staff in the employing department.

3. Examination time

In the past, NCRE held exams twice a year. From 20 14, the number of examinations increased from 2 to 3, and from 20 19 to 4. Among them, all levels of subjects will be tested in March and September, and only Level 1 and Level 2 will be tested in May and 65438+February. The provincial organizers decide whether to take the exams in May and 65438+February according to the actual situation.

The programming part mainly examines the basic ability of candidates to use programming language and programming debugging, and the advanced application part of office software mainly examines the advanced application knowledge and operation skills of office software, which are reflected in multiple-choice questions and operation questions.

3. Level 3 exam

Network technology: network planning and design, LAN networking technology, establishment of computer network information service system and computer network security and management. Database technology: database application system analysis and planning, database design and implementation, database storage technology, concurrency control technology, database management and maintenance, database technology development and new technology.
