According to the Organic Law of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the State Ethnic Affairs Commission is the administrative body in charge of ethnic affairs in the State Council. Ethnic affairs committees of local people's governments at all levels are the organs of local people's governments at all levels to manage ethnic affairs.
2. Ethnic work institutions such as the National People's Congress and the Ethnic and Religious Committee of the China People's Political Consultative Conference, and institutions of local people's congresses and ethnic work departments at all levels of the CPPCC:
According to the relevant provisions of the Organic Law of the National People's Congress and the Political Consultative Conference of the People's Republic of China, the National People's Congress and the China People's Political Consultative Conference have set up ethnic affairs committees, ethnic and religious affairs committees and other ethnic work institutions to perform their corresponding duties. There are also relevant ethnic work departments in local people's congresses and CPPCC institutions.
3. Other relevant ministries and agencies dealing with ethnic affairs:
Due to the wide range of ethnic affairs, the work of many departments is related to ethnic affairs. The State Council of the Central People's Government issued a number of decisions on ethnic affairs in 195 1. According to the spirit of the decision, relevant ministries and commissions in the State Council have also set up corresponding institutions. For example, the former Ministry of Commerce established the Ethnic Trade Department, the Ministry of Education established the Ethnic Education Department and the Ministry of Culture established the Ethnic Culture Department.
