Under what circumstances can the school give expulsion?
Students in any of the following circumstances may be ordered to drop out of school or expelled from school as appropriate:

1, the basic line of the opposition party, organizing to incite trouble, disrupting social order, undermining stability and unity, and causing serious consequences;

2. Violating the national criminal law and constituting a criminal offence;

3, destruction of public property, theft of state, collective and personal property, causing serious losses and harm;

4. People who fight, commit crimes, gamble and steal. Repeated admonition, bad conduct, moral corruption, resulting in serious consequences;

5. Violation of school rules and regulations, the circumstances are extremely serious.

Legal basis:

Decree No.41of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), Regulations on the Administration of Students in Colleges and Universities.

Fifty-fourth students in any of the following circumstances, the school can expel them from school:

(1) Violating the Constitution and opposing the Four Cardinal Principles, undermining stability and unity and disturbing social order;

(two) in violation of state laws, which constitutes a criminal offence;

(three) due to violation of public security management punishment, the nature of bad;

(four) taking exams for others, taking exams for others, organizing cheating, cheating with communication equipment and other serious cheating behaviors;

(five) plagiarism, plagiarism of other people's research results, if the circumstances are serious;

(six) violation of school rules and regulations, seriously affecting the order of school education and teaching, life order and public place management order, infringing on the legitimate rights and interests of other individuals and organizations, resulting in serious consequences;

(seven) repeated violations of school rules by disciplinary action, education does not change.

Regulations on the administration of students in institutions of higher learning
