What is the School of Continuing Education of China Academy of Fine Arts?
The College of Continuing Education of China Academy of Fine Arts is a secondary college of China Academy of Fine Arts. Its predecessor was the Adult Education Department of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, which was established in 1993. In the past 20 years, the college has always been adhering to the excellent tradition and academic ideal of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, relying on a large and top-notch faculty, giving full play to the disciplinary advantages and profound humanistic heritage of prestigious schools, and building a well-known brand of continuing education in the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts.

The college has now formed a school-running and management pattern of academic degree department, advanced research department, self-taught examination department, teacher training department, development department, academic affairs office, comprehensive department, student affairs office and five departments and three departments, involving various majors of modeling and design, including amateur (full-time teaching) education for academic students, advanced research education for advanced students, self-taught examination education, employment ability training for students of Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, visiting scholars in colleges and universities, social order classes and other education and training work. In terms of specialized courses, there are 16 specialized courses in painting, art design, sculpture and fine arts. Including calligraphy, Chinese painting (figures, landscapes, flowers and birds), oil painting, sculpture, public art, art education, decoration design (graphic design), clothing design, display design, computer comprehensive design, industrial modeling, environmental art design, interior design, landscape art design, multimedia web pages, animation art and so on. With the development of social economy, the change of market and the diversification of educational needs, our college has been exploring in the educational practice that conforms to the times, with more diversified school-running forms and richer educational content.
