Fujian Normal University of Technology is a provincial public full-time undergraduate college. The school was founded in 1977 and started its undergraduate course in 2002. Mainly cultivate high-quality applied, technical and skilled talents and vocational education teachers. It is the only university in our province that trains vocational education teachers.

The school has 9 secondary colleges, including School of Economics and Management, School of Culture, Media and Law, School of Education, School of Foreign Languages, School of Physical Education, School of Electronic and Information Engineering, School of Ocean and Biochemical Engineering, School of Continuing Education, and School of Marxism, with 30 undergraduate majors, 1 postgraduate training point and 4 postgraduate training programs.
