What is EPD?
It seems to have two meanings. . ``

1.

The Chinese name of EPD is Electric Ice Deposition or Electrophoretic Display (EPD).

Tirat hacarmel (Cerel) ranked second. It introduces the embedded passive components made of electric ice deposition (EPD). Bias is used to prevent the counter electrode from suspending small solid particles in the liquid and depositing them on the substrate. This technology is often used for photoresist deposition, which can reach the thickness of less than one thousandth of an inch and cover the surfaces of various layouts evenly. Gerel is a company that uses this technology to produce embedded resistors and capacitors by depositing high-k ceramic particles. This technology can make smaller passive components.

Electrophoretic display panel (EPD) (1) is used to display images with multiple pixels, and includes multiple pixels (2) and a driving device (100). The pixel (2) has a first electrode (3) and a second electrode (4) for receiving a potential difference, and an electrophoretic medium (5) located between the first electrode (3) and the second electrode (4). The medium (5) has first and second extreme optical states and an intermediate optical state between the first and second extreme optical states. In order to enable the display panel (1) to display a reproducible intermediate optical state, the driving device (100) can control the potential difference according to the pixel to be displayed during operation so as to change the optical state between the first extreme, the second extreme and a single balanced optical state as the intermediate optical state.

2.

(same as EarthPotentialDifference) potential difference to ground

EPD is a UNESCO project on environment, population and sustainable development education, referred to as EPD.

The connotation of EPD education project can be summarized as follows: through environmental education, population education and sustainable development education for teenagers and all social members, it can promote environmental improvement, population quality improvement and social sustainable development.

In the mid-20th century, science and technology further promoted the rapid economic development of developed countries. While people enjoy the convenience brought by science and technology and the prosperity brought by urbanization, they also see and feel more and more environmental problems. The harsh reality makes people realize that unreasonable utilization and destruction of natural resources and ecological environment will bring obstacles to human survival and development. As a result, the voice of paying attention to the living environment of human beings is growing. 1972 On June 5th, the United Nations held the first conference on human environment in Stockholm, put forward the slogan "There is only one earth", designated June 5th as World Environment Day, established the United Nations Environment Programme, and promulgated the Declaration on Human Environment. From 65438 to 0975, the United Nations Environment Programme promulgated the International Environmental Education Program (ieep) and held an international environmental education seminar. From 65438 to 0977, the first intergovernmental conference on environmental education was held in Tbilisi, and the Declaration and Recommendations of Tbilisi Intergovernmental Conference on Environmental Education were issued. From 65438 to 0987, the United Nations published the research report Our Common Future, which was completed by the World Commission on Environment and Development chaired by Mrs. Brundtland, and made a scientific definition of the concept of sustainable development for the first time. 1992, the United Nations conference on environment and development was held in Rio de Janeiro, and the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and 2/kloc-0 Agenda for the Century were issued, which solemnly declared that "it is our responsibility to promote sustainable development". In 2002, at the World Summit on Sustainable Development held in Johannesburg, South Africa, environmental protection, economic development and social development were further identified as the three important pillars of sustainable development, and the direction of the international community's efforts to further promote the cause of sustainable development was determined. Since the mid-1990s, UNESCO has started to promote education projects on environment, population and sustainable development on a global scale. Its purpose is to link sustainable development with environment and population education through the efforts of all countries in the world, and to mobilize young people and members of the whole society to actively participate in it, so as to improve the living environment of human beings and realize sustainable economic and social development. Since 1998, under the great attention and direct guidance of China National Committee for UNESCO, researchers from Beijing Academy of Educational Sciences have organized some primary and secondary schools in Beijing to take the lead in implementing this project, which has achieved remarkable results in effectively promoting quality education. On this basis, eight provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Shanghai, Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Hunan, Hebei and Inner Mongolia, have successively carried out experimental research on epd education projects, which has widely promoted the innovation of education and teaching mode in the field of basic education. At present, nearly 200 schools in 9 districts and counties in Beijing have participated in the experimental research of epd education project. There are more than 1000 member schools in epd education in China, with more than 1000 teachers participating in the experiment and more than 500,000 students directly receiving epd education. Now, this project has become the largest project to implement education on environment, population and sustainable development in China, and has attracted the attention of relevant international organizations such as UNESCO, and has been rated as a model project in developing countries and even many developed countries. Since 1999, six national epd education seminars have been held continuously. More than 1000 educators from all over the country received training. With the epd education project as the carrier, more and more educators all over the country are paying more and more attention to and actively carrying out education on environmental protection, caring for life and paying attention to sustainable development for teenagers and all citizens. At present, Beijing and Shanghai have basically established regional epd education organization networks at three levels: city, district and school. The network of educational organizations of the Environmental Protection Department in other regions is under construction.
