There are four universities in Xiangyang. Except for 98 international students in hubei university of arts and science, there are no students in the other three universities. During the period of epidemic prevention and control, colleges and universities in Hunan conscientiously implemented the relevant requirements of the state, province and city, set up special classes for joint prevention and control on campus, quickly established a campus prevention and control network, and paid close attention to all the work.

1. Implement the strictest campus prevention and control measures. Strengthen campus management, all colleges and universities implement closed management, and strictly implement the unified distribution of daily necessities needed by faculty and their families; Strengthen campus epidemic prevention and disinfection, and regularly disinfect public places and facilities such as student canteens, dormitories, duty rooms and guard rooms every day; Strengthen the investigation of the health status of teachers and students, and fully grasp the health status of teachers and students; Strengthen the education and guidance of teachers and students, strengthen the propaganda of epidemic prevention knowledge through various network channels, answer teachers and students' questions, stabilize teachers and students' emotions, and resolutely do not believe in rumors or spread rumors; Strengthen the reserve of epidemic prevention materials such as masks, temperature measuring instruments and disinfectants to ensure the smooth development of epidemic prevention work on campus.

2. Do a good job in the management of international students. Hubei university of arts and science reported the health trends of international students to the relevant municipal departments every day, and measured their body temperature twice a day, and conducted psychological intervention in time, effectively appeasing the students who had great psychological fluctuations due to the epidemic. Publicity materials such as Preventive Measures and COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention Bulletin were published in Chinese and English to persuade returned students not to go out. Solve all kinds of difficulties encountered by international students in time, and provide them with epidemic prevention materials such as thermometers, masks and disinfectant in time to ensure the daily protection needs of each international student. The school also purchases living materials in time to ensure the living needs of international students, and arranges procurement vehicles for students with additional procurement needs. Keep in touch with embassies and consulates in China, where the overseas students are located, and inform the overseas students in school in time.

3. Actively organize online teaching. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education, four universities have formulated the implementation plan of online teaching organization to ensure the quality and effect of students' online learning. In view of the problems of students in some mountainous areas and rural poverty-stricken areas, such as lack of internet access, low traffic and difficulties in online learning, the school is also actively trying to ensure that every student "does not fall behind" by pushing high-quality teaching resources and providing accurate assistance. For example, Xiangyang Vocational College has implemented a flow subsidy policy for more than 6,000 poor students, giving each student a monthly 50 yuan flow subsidy until the epidemic is completely over.

4. Fully participate in the prevention and control of social epidemic. In the process of epidemic prevention and control, the affiliated hospital of Xiangyang Vocational College was successively identified as the designated medical institution for fever clinic in the city and the designated hospital for medical treatment in COVID-19, and 1 Hotel was managed and transformed into a temporary campus. Party member cadres and medical staff in the hospital volunteered to take part in the rescue work. As of February 23rd, 276 people participated in the first-line epidemic prevention and control, and 252 wards in 4 wards were opened.
