CET-4 is a national unified single-subject standardized teaching examination organized by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education (formerly the State Education Commission) according to the two college English syllabuses of science and engineering undergraduate and liberal arts undergraduate. Those who pass the examination will be awarded the certificate of CET-4, and those who get excellent results will be marked with the word "excellent".
CET-4 is designed according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education. Its purpose is to measure whether candidates meet the requirements of CET-4 stipulated in the syllabus, promote and check the implementation of the syllabus, and thus improve the teaching level of college English.
1. Date of CET-4
CET-4 is held twice a year, once in June and once in June.
Registration for CET-4
(1) Qualification for registration
1. The national CET-4 is mainly aimed at undergraduates who have completed the CET-4;
2. College students or graduate students with the same level can sign up for CET-4 in our school with the consent of their school;
3. Students of night university or correspondence university with the same level can sign up for CET-4 in our school with the consent of their school;
4. Anyone who has obtained the CET-4 certificate can no longer take the CET-4 exam. However, those who have not passed the fourth grade can re-register for the exam;
5. 1987 Undergraduate graduates who need to take make-up exams after graduation.
Students who have set up test centers in our school are not allowed to take CET-4 across schools. Once found out, cancel the test results.
(B) English Test Band 4 registration time and method
1. The registration of CET-4 is generally held in March and September every year. Candidates must register at the designated place within the specified time, and no supplementary report will be accepted after registration.
2. Candidates at school voluntarily participate in the school and register collectively; If candidates practice in other places on the day of the exam, they should still register at their school;
3. Non-school students can take CET-4 in our school, but they can register in our center with their ID card and work permit and pay the examination fee according to the regulations.
Three. Precautions for CET4 candidates
Candidates are required to submit a recent one-inch bareheaded photo when registering. When taking the exam, you must bring your ID card and the admission ticket issued by the test center. Otherwise, you are not allowed to enter the examination room.
Fourth, English test scores.
1. The score report of CET-4 adopts the normal scoring system in the form of a percentage system, with 60 being qualified and 85 being excellent; 2. College English test only reports the total score; 3. Each test center will send the results to the schools participating in the test within 50 days after the end of the test; 4. Candidates who have questions about their grades can go to the relevant test center with their admission ticket and the certificate of the school's academic affairs office, and pay the manual inquiry fee.
Certificate of CET-4.
Those who pass CET-4 will be issued a certificate printed by the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, marked "qualified" or "excellent"; Those who have lost their certificates may, within 4 years from the date of issuance of the certificates, issue a certificate from the academic affairs office of the original school, and apply to the affiliated examination center for a replacement of the Certificate of Conformity in CET-4 and CET-6 uniformly printed by the office of the Examination Committee. The certificate will not be reissued, and the expenses will be paid by the applicant. For those who have passed 4 years, the CET-4 certificate will not be reissued.
6. CET4 oral test
Candidates who have participated in CET-4 within two years and scored above 80 in CET-4 can sign up for CET-4 oral examination. The CET-4 oral test is held in May 165438+ 10 every year. The registration time is March and September. The oral examination results are divided into four grades: A, B, C and D, and all grades A, B and C are awarded oral examination certificates.
Only those who have passed CET-4 are eligible to take CET-6.
