What does normal primary education mean?
Normal primary education refers to the training of primary school teachers. So after entering, it is generally divided into Chinese, mathematics, English and other directions. The modern word "normal school" has become a school for training teachers. Although the name is different, the meaning still refers to the cultivation of talents who are teachers and models.

Teachers' class refers to a kind of colleges and universities in general, not to some majors in particular. In the past, all majors in normal universities could be regarded as normal majors, including psychology and pedagogy, and they did not work as teachers. Now many normal colleges have been changed into comprehensive colleges. Therefore, it is customary to refer to mathematics, physics, chemistry, Chinese, foreign languages, politics, physical education and other disciplines related to primary and secondary education in normal universities as normal education. Similarly, the basic disciplines of educational scientific research in primary and secondary schools, such as pedagogy and psychology, are also called normal majors.
