The health administrative department of the local people's government at or above the county level shall be responsible for organizing the medical and health institutions within its jurisdiction to undertake the health examination of primary and secondary school students. Primary and secondary schools are responsible for the organization and management of physical examination for primary and secondary school students. Medical and health institutions that provide health check-up services (including regional primary and secondary health care institutions affiliated to the administrative department of education, hereinafter referred to as health check-up institutions) are responsible for cooperating with relevant departments to carry out health check-ups for primary and secondary school students.
