What is the health education content of artificial anus?
(1) Prevention and treatment of skin lesions Due to the soaking of feces, digestive juice and sweat, the area around the artificial anus is often wet. Always gently scrub the perianal skin with warm water, especially immediately after defecation. Avoid using alkaline soap when washing. After washing, dry it with absorbent toilet paper or absorbent cotton. After exposure for a period of time, apply prickly heat powder or indigo powder. You can also use scab-like skin care agents, such as yeast powder cream, all-purpose glue, bletilla striata cream and so on. After local application, a thin film can be formed to protect the skin, but it can only be used before the skin has obvious inflammation. Once there is leakage, it should be prohibited to use it. In addition, oily skin protectants such as vaseline and skin cream can also be used. When there is inflammation around the artificial anus, local flushing, mild pain and itching appear at first, then erosion, gradually expanding, and sometimes a large abscess surface can be formed overnight. If not treated immediately, ulcers will form and cause pain. Long-term chronic stimulation can cause chronic eczema, skin pigmentation, thickening and itching, such as papules and pustules in secondary infection.

(2) protecting intestinal mucosa

The artificial anal orifice is formed by eversion of intestinal mucosa, which is higher than the skin under normal circumstances and is easily stimulated by friction such as fecal bag and belt, causing edema, erosion and bleeding. , must be protected. Usually underwear should be loose, the belt should not be directly pressed on the artificial anus, and it is best to use suspenders for outer pants to reduce friction. Generally, there won't be too much bleeding on the artificial anus. If there is a small amount of bleeding, as long as the local area is kept clean to prevent secondary infection, most of it can be improved in a short period of time. If mucous membrane oozes blood, gelatin sponge can be used to stop bleeding. If there is too much bleeding, you should go to the hospital for treatment.

(3) Prevention of artificial anal stenosis.

Artificial anorectal stenosis is a common complication, and about 10% patients will have different degrees of stenosis. Once it happens, we should use the method of dilating anus, either with fingers or with instruments. The specific approach is:

(1) Put on latex gloves on the right hand or latex finger cuff on the index finger of the right hand, coat it with sterilized liquid paraffin oil or vegetable oil and sesame oil, gently extend it into the artificial anus until it passes through the narrow ring, then turn your finger 1 ~ 2 minutes and then quit, twice a day.

(2) Make a smooth plastic stick with a thick index finger, with a thin front end and a thick back end in the shape of a cannonball. Apply paraffin oil to the round end and slowly insert it into the artificial anus, rotate it for 1 ~ 2 minutes, then put it into the anus and take it out, 2 ~ 3 times a day. It is advisable to have a thick index finger or middle finger in stool. In addition, if the feces are diluted for a long time, it may cause artificial anal stenosis, so it is necessary to adjust the feces to make them molded and soft, and the molded feces can expand the anus to a certain extent when passing through the artificial anus.
