1, library history
Xi Foreign Affairs University Library was founded in 1992. It is composed of libraries in the south and north campuses, with nearly 50 staff members, and consists of comprehensive business center, editing center, lending center, technology and training center, electronic reading center and other business departments. Set up readers' space for discussion and reading, with weekly opening hours of 105 hours, and provide borrowing, self-study, consultation and reading for everyone. ?
2. Brief introduction of architecture
The library has elegant environment, perfect organization and thoughtful service. There are editing department, lending department, information service department, electronic reading room, newspaper reading room, private education research reference room, study room, academic conference center, sample stacks and basic stacks. There are more than 2,600 reading self-study seats and 220 computers for readers to use.
3. Collection scale
The library closely combines the needs of specialty setting, key discipline construction and school development, and actively develops the construction of literature information resources according to the idea of multiple collections. It has formed a collection feature of eclecticism, eclecticism and rich electronic resources. By the end of 2007, the collection of paper and electronic documents reached more than 2 million volumes (pieces) and more than 2,200 kinds of newspapers and magazines, which provided sufficient literature information resources for teaching and scientific research.
