Introduction to Eton College
Eton College, located in Windsor Town, 20 miles from London, is the most famous aristocratic middle school in Britain, ranking in the top ten in Britain. Eton College is located on the Thames River in Buckinghamshire, opposite the Queen's beloved Windsor Palace. It is an ancient institution founded by Henry VI in 1440. Eaton is famous for its "cradle of elite" and "gentleman culture". It is also famous for its strict militarized management. Most of its students have excellent grades, and it is recognized as the best middle school in Britain, where the British royal family, political and economic elites are trained. There have been 20 British prime ministers here, including poet Shelley, economist Keynes, actors Tom Hiddleston and Eddie Redmayne, and "the man standing at the top of the food chain" bear grylls. It is also the alma mater of Prince William and Prince Harry, the second heir to the British throne. Among Eaton's 250 or so graduates each year, more than 70 enter Oxford and Cambridge, and 70% enter world famous schools. It is worth mentioning that in World War I, the death rate of British men on the battlefield was about 1 1%, while the death rate of men who graduated from Eton College was about 20.6%. Chivalry is evident.
