Guizhou Vocational College of Applied Technology is a full-time college approved by Guizhou Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. In September, 2022, the official website of the school showed that the planned construction land of the college was more than 600 mu, with a construction area of 250,000 square meters, and there were two campuses in the south and the north. There are 6 teaching departments and more than 400 full-time teachers.
The first phase of the college project invested more than 200 million yuan, with 6,543,800 square meters of teaching buildings, libraries, student apartments, canteens, sports stands, quality development fields, 40 experimental training rooms, instruments and equipment amounting to more than 30 million yuan, paper books 150,000 copies, e-books 150 copies and periodicals150 copies.
