History of Chongde Middle School
In order to avoid the harassment of soldiers and bandits, the school board decided to move to the nearby Nandou Village 1928. Teachers and students jointly restored the Jingdou Garden Building as a school building, and moved to the school in the spring of 1929, establishing the school motto and school song.

1930, Guan Guanghou and Wang invited Mr. Ye, Liu and Lin Qicheng to help them buy 39 buildings in Building No.3 13, Lujiang Road, Xiamen as the permanent school-running property of Chongde Middle School, and extracted the rent as the school-running funds, which fundamentally solved the problem of school-running funds. Huang Yanpei, a celebrity in the education field at that time, was very appreciative of this move, and personally wrote a "God helps those who help themselves, I learn from each other's strengths" as a gift to Mr. Guan Guanghou.

1937, the Japanese invaders invaded China and Xiamen fell. In Xiamen, the school property is not profitable, and the school funds are difficult, so junior high schools have to be closed, leaving only primary schools. 1938, primary schools were also forced to suspend classes.

After 1944, the bandits in Anxi were a little quieter, and there was a demand for re-education in the local area. Mr. Xie Fusan, the former teacher of Anxi Changkeng, contacted the old headmaster to recruit a new headmaster to restore the school board, and asked Jimei Middle School, which moved to Anxi, to set up a branch school in Changkeng. 1945 spring enrollment. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Jimei School moved back to Jimei School Village, and Chongde Middle School also completed the resumption procedures, immediately revoked the name of Jimei Branch, and officially resumed classes in the spring of 1946.
