The Academy of Music and Performing Arts has a united leadership team. In order to adapt to the internationalization trend of higher education in the 2 1 century and establish an open, interactive, multi-level and international school-running model, our college actively explores the road of "promoting international exchanges and cooperation in an all-round way by means of student exchange and vigorously promoting all-round open school-running" and strives to cultivate more high-quality and open talents for the country. In 2002, it was awarded the certified classroom teaching point of Modern Distance Education College by the Central Conservatory of Music. In 2003 and 2005, we established strategic cooperative relations with the Wiesbaden Conservatory of Music and the Hessian Conservatory of Music in Germany. Teachers are sent to visit each other for further study every year, and now five groups of ten teachers have been sent to the Wiesbaden Conservatory of Music in Germany for further study. In April 2007, it signed an agreement with Eisenfurtwangen Conservatory of Music in Germany to jointly train graduate students, and began enrolling students in 2008. On June 5438+ 10, 2004, the college organized a delegation, mainly teachers and students from the College of Music and Performing Arts, to go to the Wiesbaden Conservatory of Music in Germany for cultural exchange, which was a great success. In March 2004, he presided over the third Wiesbaden International Piano Competition in Mianyang, China, which was a complete success. The 4th International Piano Competition in Wiesbaden, Germany will continue to be held in our institute.

Under the direct leadership and deployment of the party and government of the school, with the strong support and help of all departments of the school, our college successfully held the opening ceremony of "International Forum on Music Art and Education" and "Conservatory of Music" in Linyuan Hotel, Mianyang City on February 2-4, 2005. The forum invited famous experts and scholars at home and abroad, some leaders of many universities and performing groups in China and music experts and scholars, and more than 20 news media including the central, provincial and municipal governments reported on the forum. At the opening ceremony, famous experts, scholars and leaders at home and abroad who participated in the forum delivered warm speeches respectively. During the forum, experts and scholars introduced the current situation of music education at home and abroad and made speeches on their academic research. At the closing ceremony of the forum, Dean Su Zhixian, the leader of the college, also presented letters of appointment to the honorary dean, dean and visiting professor of the Conservatory of Music of Mianyang Normal University. The success of this forum has won unanimous praise from the whole hospital and all walks of life.
