Teaching and scientific research is the only way to improve the brand level of schools and promote the development of teachers. Since the Ninth Five-Year Plan, we have participated in the national-level "subjectivity" research project hosted by Professor Pei Dina of Beijing Normal University. In a series of research and practice, our teachers' teaching art and professional quality have been greatly improved. During this period, five people have successively won the first prize of the national competition course. 5438+068 in 2007. Our school held a seminar with the theme of "subjectivity". Professor Pei Dina, the head of the whole country, the formulator of the new Chinese curriculum standard of the Ministry of Education, and Professor Zheng, the editor-in-chief of the textbook of Beijing Normal University, have all visited our school and appreciated our teaching, scientific research and campus culture very much. Because the school has formed a good talent growth mechanism, a large number of famous teachers stand out and are known as the "cradle" for the growth of famous teachers. They also sent more than 20 school-level cadres to the whole region, known as the "cradle".
We realize that the school can be built beautifully, but superficial is not enough, and we must take the road of connotative development. We take the completion of the new campus as an opportunity to pay close attention to the construction of campus culture. We asked experts to give us a cultural orientation and extract the word "double fragrance", which means that fragrance spreads far and wide. "Shuangxiang", that is, "Virtue for learning, refreshing", is becoming a towering "Shuangxin" learning forest, which also implies the name of our school-"Sara". This positioning has pointed out the development direction for us, and also provided a lot of room for improvement.
To this end, we engraved "Sara Primary School Fu" in a prominent position in the school gate, built "Shuangxin" art wall, parents' and children's relief, drama mask column, and drew unique theme murals according to the discipline characteristics of each function room. This contains a strong charm of traditional culture, which is also the atmosphere of Chinese studies education that we deliberately create. In the research and practice of the national "Sinology" project in our school, we launched. We have compiled three sets of textbooks of Chinese studies in different years, established a database of electronic teaching plans of Chinese studies, and compiled teachers' after-school essays and students' learning experiences into a book. We strive to build campus culture, recite the classic chapters of Chinese studies, and make everyone on campus become a modest and elegant person.
The school attaches great importance to strengthening friendly relations at home and abroad, receives hundreds of educational delegations from various provinces and cities every year, exchanges and discusses rich educational experience with educational delegations from Japan, the United States, Germany and other countries, and forms a sister school with Daguo Primary School in Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan.
