It is affirmed that the process of students mastering knowledge has something in common with the process of human understanding the world in historical development, and the teaching process should be carried out under the guidance of scientific epistemology. It emphasizes that classes are the basic organizational form of teaching, fully affirms the leading role of teachers in education and teaching, and emphasizes that textbooks are one of the main sources for students to acquire knowledge. Six teaching principles are put forward, namely, students' consciousness and initiative in the process of mastering knowledge, intuition in teaching, combination of theory and practice in teaching, systematicness and coherence in teaching, consolidation of knowledge and acceptability in teaching methods.
