The headmaster of Ji Yun Campus of Hengnan No.1 Middle School (Big Dipper Middle School) in Ji Yun Town, Hengnan County engages in malpractices for personal gain, abuses his power, and there are problems in the fairness of the selection process. The number of teachers recruited by Big Dipper Middle School has not been announced, and other teachers know nothing about it.
This has led to the Big Dipper Middle School becoming a springboard for teachers' children in Hengnan No.1 Middle School, and taking the front-line teachers in Big Dipper Middle School as victims. The Big Dipper Middle School in Hengnan County was founded in 1999. In July 2006, it successfully transformed into a private joint-stock middle school. There are 10 private joint-stock schools approved by the Provincial Department of Education, including 3 in Hengyang. They are the middle school of Hengnan No.1 Middle School-Big Dipper Experimental Middle School, the middle school of Hengyang No.1 Middle School-Chuanshan Experimental Middle School, and the middle school of Hengyang No.8 Middle School-Zhangcheng Experimental Middle School.
On August 28th, 2009, the school moved to the new campus smoothly. This successful relocation laid the foundation for the future development of Big Dipper Experimental Middle School. The Big Dipper Experimental Middle School was originally the junior middle school of the provincial key Hengnan No.1 Middle School. In 2006, it was restructured into a private joint-stock school, with Hengnan No.1 Middle School accounting for 49% of the shares and being its largest shareholder.
