Located in the south of Shouyi Square, the cavalry training ground in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, it is adjacent to Peng Road in the north, Zhangzhidong Road in the south, Street in the east and Sports Street in the west. It is the core building of Shouyi Cultural District. The Museum of the Revolution of 1911 is a special museum built by the Wuhan Municipal Government of Hubei Province to commemorate the anniversary of Wuchang Shouyi 100 of the Revolution of 1911, with a total construction area of 22 142m2.

Located at the northern end of the cavalry training ground at the southern foot of Sheshan, Wuchang, Hubei Province, it is adjacent to the Yellow Crane Tower in the west, Sheshan in the north and Shouyi Square in the south. The former site covers an area of18,000 square meters, with a construction area of nearly10,000 square meters. Because of the red walls and tiles in the old site, Wuhan people call it the red building. Wuchang Uprising Memorial Hall of the Revolution of 1911 is a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, and the first batch of national scientific research and practical education bases for primary and secondary school students.
