After reading this book, I got:

1, understand constructivist educational thought and development psychology. Recently, I was studying Montessori's educational theory, thinking that I had come into contact with the most scientific educational methods, but only when I came into contact with the educational theories of other educational scholars did I find myself a frog in the well. Besides Waldorf, Reggio and Orff, who keep pace with Montessori education, there are also theoretical knowledge of behaviorism, humanism, constructivism and cognitive learning theory in psychology, which are closely practiced with early childhood education. A good kindergarten is not limited to only one educational concept, but, like Ba Xueyuan, learns from others and combines the characteristics of children to form its own set of ideas.

2. I came into contact with other reference figures and books on educational theory, such as Eriksson and Karen Horney, Rochette and Understanding Children's Growth (British educator and psychologist peter smith), which all guided my future study.

3. Deepen the understanding of the concept of early childhood education. No matter what kind of educational ideas they have, they are basically the same, that is, to respect the development laws of human beings and children, with the aim of better promoting children's development and enabling them to adapt to this society and survive and grow better.

4. Have a deeper understanding of self-requirements. Both Montessori education and the educational philosophy of Ba Xue Yuan require teachers to have rational love for children first. What is rational love? It is the love of guiding and controlling children on the basis of understanding their development. Secondly, teachers should constantly improve their theoretical knowledge and better serve the growth of children. Furthermore, we should maintain a good mental state, accept children and ourselves with an open mind. As Montessori said, adults should be role models for children.

5. Understand the park setting and one-day process of Ba Xueyuan. Because of studying Montessori, I have a preconceived idea that Montessori's environmental setting is the most reasonable, but different schools have different understandings of the role of the environment. There is a big difference between the environment setting of Ba Academy and Montessori, which is to increase the doll area and let children have more emotional sustenance and communication. There are also four seasons tables to let children feel the different characteristics of the four seasons indoors. The design of the one-day flow of Ba Xue Garden has made me have a clearer understanding of the work in the park, and it also makes me feel that there is a long way to go. Leading children is a job that needs constant thinking.

Practical plan:

1. Continue reading Li Yueer's other books, and learn more about the practice of Ba Xueyuan's concept.

2. Read the theories and books mentioned in the book, including psychology.

I will start working in the park this Friday. I want to record all the impressive and interesting things I have experienced as the material for my future work.
