Degree certificate, also known as degree certificate, is a certificate issued to prove students' professional knowledge and technical level. In China, the qualification unit for awarding degree certificates is an institution of higher learning or scientific research approved by the Ministry of Education.

Degree classification

At present, there are three degrees in China: bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree. Among them, the bachelor's degree also includes the second bachelor's degree, collectively referred to as the bachelor's degree.

Obtain a degree certificate

Obtaining a degree means that the educational level and academic level of the grantee have reached the prescribed academic title. Study and research in institutions of higher learning or scientific research departments, the results have reached the relevant provisions, and the relevant departments have awarded the professional knowledge learning qualification recognized by the state and society.

Changes in degree certificates

The State Council Academic Degrees Committee and the Ministry of Education issued a notice on printing and distributing the Measures for the Administration of Degree Certificates and Degree Granting Information. From 20 16 1, the degree certificates issued to the winners of doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees are designed and printed by the degree-granting units themselves, and the degree certificates printed by the the State Council Academic Degrees Committee Office are no longer used. The degree certificate 20 16 1.5 designed by Peking University was officially unveiled.
