Dutch education model and concept What is the Dutch education model?
1. The Dutch education system consists of three parts: primary education, secondary education and higher education. Compulsory education is from five to sixteen, and primary education is from four to twelve. This stage is not mandatory. From the age of twelve, secondary education is divided into two categories, one is general secondary education and the other is vocational secondary education.

2. Higher education includes college education and university education, which are respectively the responsibility of colleges and universities. The duration of these two kinds of education courses is 4-5 years.

3. Dutch educational philosophy does not advocate competition, nor does it have the goal of "being the first in the class", and so does secondary education. Full score 10, you only need to keep the average score at 6-that is, the passing score-to continue your education.
