University Hall refers to the name of Shi Jing University Hall, which was used from 1898 to 19 12, and was later renamed as Peking University, which was one of the New Deal of 1898.

Shi Jing University Hall was the first national comprehensive university of arts and sciences in modern China, and it was also the highest educational administrative organ in China at that time. Its establishment marks the beginning of modern national higher education in China.
