Sichuan Aerospace Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. It is jointly established by Sichuan Provincial Education Department, Sichuan National Defense Science and Technology Office and Sichuan Space Administration. It is a national training base for high-skilled talents. It is the only higher vocational college of national defense science, technology and industry system in Sichuan.
