Education Economy and Management is a new interdisciplinary subject, which belongs to the category of social science and is one of the five two disciplines under the first-class discipline of public management. Mainly using the theories and methods of pedagogy, economics and management, this paper studies the relationship between education and economy and its changing and developing law, the law of economic input and output in the field of education, the leap-forward development of education, and the science of studying the management law in the development of education.
The internal motive force of establishing the discipline of educational economics and management is the change of the position of education in modern society, that is, the important level of education tends to the center. No matter how the society develops in the future, knowledge, as a factor of production, will play an increasingly important role in society, and education, as a great cause of producing and inheriting knowledge, will undoubtedly play a decisive role.
Since the reform and opening up, with the strong growth of China's economy, the optimal allocation of educational resources and the fairness of educational system need a solid theoretical foundation, and the discipline of educational economy and management has been paid more and more attention and gradually become an important discipline in the field of public management. Therefore, the development and employment prospects of this subject are encouraging. As a new discipline, educational economics and management has developed into a discipline system with a certain style in the past few years, and has become an important part in the field of public management, providing theoretical research for the national civil service system and cultivating a group of senior public management talents for the country.
Today, when we advocate the construction of Socialism with Chinese characteristics, we should base ourselves on our own country, learn from foreign advanced theories and practices, strengthen international exchanges, and create a teaching and research system of educational economy and management with China characteristics, so as to provide graduates with a broader life stage.
