The education that people are satisfied with should be the education of coordinated development. To this end, the report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made clear two key points for the coordinated development of education:
First, clarify the objectives and tasks, re-emphasize the comprehensive implementation of the party's educational policy, and insist that education serves the socialist modernization and the people. This is the fundamental interest of the overwhelming majority of the people, and it is also the essential requirement of taking the road of education development in Socialism with Chinese characteristics.
The second is to optimize the structural layout. The report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China focuses on meeting the needs of all people for learning and lifelong learning, and demands that preschool education should be well run, nine-year compulsory education should be developed in a balanced way, and high school education should be basically popularized.
