Lianshui Vocational and Technical Education Center was founded in 1982, formerly known as Dongfeng Middle School in Lianshui County, and is affiliated to Lianshui County Education Committee. It is a national key vocational high school with architecture and electromechanical specialty as its major. 1994 organized Lianshui secondary vocational school and established Lianshui Correspondence Station of Jiangsu Construction Workers Training Center. Now there are vocational high schools, vocational secondary schools, adult colleges and correspondence departments for senior technicians in construction.
