Jiaodong Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery is a national 3A-level tourist attraction, covering an area of 760 mu, with 303 memorial buildings. It is located on the Ling Ying Mountain in front of the cliff mountain in Qixia County, which is called the roof of Jiaodong. It is the earliest anti-Japanese martyrs cemetery organized by China * * * to commemorate the largest number of anti-Japanese martyrs, covering the largest area. There are more than 130 revolutionary cultural relics in the memorial hall of martyrs in front of Lingying Mountain. This paper briefly introduces the history of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in Jiaodong and the heroic deeds of more than ten famous martyrs in Jiaodong in the form of a special issue. From the back of the memorial hall to the top of Ling Ying, after 835 steps, it is the hexagonal towering Jiaodong Memorial Tower for Anti-Japanese Martyrs. There are 20,850 martyrs' names in the cemetery, including famous anti-Japanese heroes, such as Ren Changlun, the fighting hero in Jiaodong during the Anti-Japanese War, and Keshan, the hero of the explosion. There are 365,438+065,438+0 memorial buildings in the cemetery. 1989 was announced by the State Council as a national key martyrs memorial building protection unit, and was awarded the honorary titles of National Hundred Patriotism Education Bases, National Patriotism Education Demonstration Bases, Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units, Yantai Red Tourism Scenic Area, etc.
