Discussion with experts from the Cultural Relics Bureau on the "Yi Xue Monument" in Haopo Village, Lombardi Town.

Leaders:

In 2009 10, Wang Feng of Jiyuan Daily published an article by reporter Wei Jianbo (correspondent Qin Shengli), "Our city found that there are still" Yi Xue monuments "in the ruins of the dynasty" Yi Xue ". The article points out: "According to archaeological research, the inscription is to the effect that during the reign of Kangxi in the early Qing Dynasty, Qin Zong in Haopo Village, Lombardi Town was childless, and his family property was dedicated to Qin Ancestral Hall to establish" Yi "religion. In the fourth year of the Republic of China, Qin Boxun was charitable and subsidized all his savings to the school, which was used to set up a "voluntary school" together with the ancestral property. The Qin family specially wrote an article to set up a monument, which was called "Yixue Monument". The inscription describes the 300-odd-year history of Yi-ology since Hao Po was founded in Qing Dynasty, which was continued with the donation of Qin ancestors, from which we can see the fine tradition of Qin family advocating learning and attaching importance to teaching. The inscription says that in more than 300 years, this "righteousness" has produced thousands of outstanding students.

According to my many visits to Haopo Village, I found that this article has eight "serious injuries".

1, the article points out: "Inscription in regular script, 6 lines, a total of 190 words". The description here is inappropriate. Inscriptions can be divided into broad sense and narrow sense. In a narrow sense, inscriptions only refer to the words written for making inscriptions, while in a broad sense, inscriptions refer to all the words engraved on the tablets. There are more than six lines of inscriptions in a broad sense, and there are 165 words in a narrow sense. The article states: "Inscription in regular script, 6 lines, total 190 words". Not appropriate.

2. The article points out: "According to archaeological research, the inscription is to the effect that Qin Zongcheng was childless in Haopo Village, Lombardi Town during the Kangxi period in the early Qing Dynasty." The description here is inappropriate. The inscription does not clearly point out that Qin Zongcheng had no children and no heirs in Kangxi period in the early Qing Dynasty. Just by the way, I have a lot of legacy in Qin Zongcheng Hall. If we combine the genealogy of Qin with the tombstone of Qin Wanli, we can roughly infer that Qin Zongcheng lived in the early Qing Dynasty. According to Qin's genealogy, Hao Po's Qin's generational order is wealth, imperial court, Confucianism, Sect ... Qin's genealogy is also recorded, and Qin Zongcheng is matched with Wang and Guo (unknown). Qin Wanli's tombstone reads: "... it was not until Fugong moved to the lower Hexi that he was sent to the south of the village." Later, in the Ming and early Qing Dynasties, Lun Gong, the son of Hao Pofu, was buried here. Fugong is the ancestor of Haopo Qin's family. Sun Lungong, rich Yuan, third, Qin Zongcheng, fourth. Qin Zongcheng lived in the early Qing Dynasty, and the conclusion of "During the reign of Kangxi in the early Qing Dynasty, ……" is still lacking in relevant literature.

3. The article points out: "Qin Zongcheng of Haopo Village, Lombardi Town, because he has no children or daughters, dedicated his family property to Qin's ancestral hall and established the' righteousness' religion." The description here is extremely inappropriate. The inscription on the Book of Changes does not point out that Qin Zongcheng dedicated his family property to the Qin ancestral hall and established the education of the Book of Changes. He just said, "I, Qin Zongcheng Hall, have a certain legacy. The year before last, I tried to run a compulsory school with the rest of this property, but it didn't work. Later, Bo Heng, Bo Xun, Bo Cheng, Bo Gang, Xue Kuan and others all realized that living in Tang Cheng should make more money to run schools. According to Qin's genealogy, Bo Zi is the 12th generation and Xue Zi is the 13th generation. Qin Boheng and Qin Boxuan lived in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Qin Boheng and Qin Boxuan "began to realize that Tang Zongcheng had spare money to start schools." "Tang Zongcheng is closely related to Qin Zongcheng. However, Qin Zongcheng did not set up the education of "righteousness". Hao Poyi began in the early years of the Republic of China, and its founders were Qin Boheng, Qin Boxun, Qin Bocheng, Qin Bogang and Qin Xuekuan. Not Qin Zongcheng in the early Qing Dynasty.

4. The article points out: "In the fourth year of the Republic of China, Qin Boxun was charitable and subsidized all his savings to the school." The description here is extremely inappropriate. In the inscription of Yixue, I wrote: I am afraid that the surplus capital is insufficient, and Qin Gongbo shows kindness and joy. Borrow a piece of paper with the number 10000 yuan, and type it in Tang Zongcheng's name for a total of 1000 yuan, so there is no need to delimit tuition fees. The inscription did not mention "subsidizing all my savings to the school".

5. The article points out: "The Qin family specially wrote an article to erect a monument, which is called' Yixue Monument'". The description here is extremely inappropriate. The inscription reads: "Cheng wrote an article, with stonemason Jiang Chengxian taking the lead, in early December of the fourth year of the Republic of China". It can be seen that this monument was written by Cheng. It is not pointed out in this article that "the Qin family specially wrote an article to set up a monument."

6. The article points out: "The inscription records the history of Yi-ology for more than 300 years, which has been continued with the donation of Qin people since Hao Po founded Yi-ology in Qing Dynasty". The description here is inappropriate. In fact, the inscription is very clear. Hao Po founded Yi Xue in the early years of the Republic of China, not in the Qing Dynasty. There is no history of' righteousness' for more than 300 years.

7. The article points out: "According to the inscription, thousands of outstanding students have emerged in this" righteousness "for more than 300 years. The description here is extremely inappropriate. There is no record in the inscription that "over the past three hundred years, thousands of outstanding students have emerged from this' righteousness'". This sentence is purely fabricated by the author of this article!

8. The article points out: "The site of Yixue in the Qing Dynasty and the discovery of Yixue Monument in the Republic of China ...". The description here is extremely inappropriate. According to literature research, this sentence should be changed to "This Qin ancestral hall was discovered in the Qing Dynasty, and there was a' Yi Xue Monument' in the Republic of China ...".

Dear leaders, my above views are extremely immature, and I hope that experts from the Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics will criticize and correct me.

thank you

Author: text/photo reporter Wei Jianbo correspondent Qin Shengli Source: Wang Feng Words: 6 13

201310/0 Archaeologists in our city found a school site of "Yixue" in the Qing Dynasty and a "Yixue Monument" in the fourth year of the Republic of China in Haopo Village, Lombardi Town. According to textual research, this is the only monument of Yi Studies in the Qing Dynasty and the only monument of Yi Studies in the Republic of China discovered in our city as of 20 14.

The school site of Yixue in Qing Dynasty is located in the middle of Haopo Village, Lombardi Town, on the west bank of Dongyang River. The school building is located on the north and south sides, covering an area of about 2000 square meters. There are three main rooms and east and west wing rooms. According to villagers' introduction and literature records, the Qin ancestral hall in Haopo Village was a "Yixue" school building in the Qing Dynasty. The school building was used from the Qing Dynasty to the 1970s, and it is still intact.

The "Yi Xue Monument" in the Republic of China is now stored in the east side of Qinjia Courtyard, a municipal cultural relics protection unit. The monument is 85 cm high, 4 1 cm wide and 12 cm thick. It is made of bluestone and has a round head. From the front of the stone tablet, you can clearly see the inscription "Yi Xue" in regular script, 6 lines, with a total of 190 words. The inscription is clear and well preserved.

The discovery of the "Yi-ology" school site in the Qing Dynasty and the "Yi-ology Monument" in the Republic of China provides important physical evidence for studying the development of local culture and education in Gushaofu and Jiyuan.
