The Hong Kong University of Education is an institution of higher learning funded by the Hong Kong SAR Government. The Hong Kong University of Education has five university-level and ten college-level R&D centers covering the fields of education, social sciences and humanities.
Internationally, the university was awarded the chairmanship of "Technical Education and Vocational Training and Lifelong Learning" by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, and established the Observatory of "Research on Local Culture and Innovative Education". In addition, according to the application results of government preferential research grants in 201-12, among the eight universities in Hong Kong, the success rate of funded projects ranks first, and education and social sciences rank second.
