Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry, located in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, is a key characteristic university in Henan Province jointly established by the central and local governments and mainly managed by local governments.

2. School history

Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry was founded in 1977, formerly known as the Ministry of Light Industry, and is the only light industry undergraduate university in Central and South China.

20 18 was renamed Zhengzhou Institute of Light Industry with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
