Games play a great role in education. Froebel believes that games are a tool for children to know the world, a source of happy life, a means to cultivate children's moral quality, and can best show (or develop) children's enthusiasm and automaticity. Froebel was the first to realize the educational value of games in the history of education, and systematically incorporated game activities into educational content. Froebel not only attaches importance to children's play activities in families and kindergartens, but also calls for the establishment of children's public play places in every town.
