In recent years, primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in Chongqing have actively explored new ideas to strengthen school supervision, actively absorbed students' parents to participate in the supervision, inspection, guidance and improvement of school management, education and teaching, and constructed a new school supervision mechanism, realizing the dual effects of school supervision and home-school co-education.
Improve the mechanism of "three invitations, three decisions and three platforms"
Qinglong Road Primary School in Nan 'an District is one of the earliest schools in Chongqing to set up "parental supervision". Six years ago, the school set up a "parent supervision room", established a "three requests, three decisions and three platforms" parent supervision mechanism, defined the qualifications, conditions, roles and responsibilities of parent supervision, and built a relatively complete parent supervision team.
"Three Invitations" means to employ parents who are responsible, professional and enterprising as parents' inspectors. The term of parental supervision is two years, and voluntary service, voluntary appointment and assessment are implemented. In the past six years, the school has hired 48 parents to supervise the school.
"Three decisions", that is, the supervision work is carried out in a fixed time, content and way. Parents and inspectors form a supervision group to "see, listen, check, visit and test" in school classrooms, offices, activity places and campuses every two weeks and Thursdays, implement the supervision plan, complete the supervision content, and participate in school development planning, cadre selection and appointment and other activities. In the past six years, parent inspectors have visited the school 180 times, held parent seminars 12 times, audited 248 teacher classes, conducted special inspections on campus safety 18 times, and submitted 20 written reports 120 times. The supervision report and evaluation results of parents' inspectors are directly applied to the school's decisions, as well as the performance appraisal and evaluation of teachers.
"Three platforms" is to build three platforms for co-education between home and school, including parents' courses, parents' schools and parents' deeds. According to parents' specialties, the school offers courses such as baking and handicrafts 13 for parents, and employs parents as tutors for special activities. Parents' schools organize parent-teacher conferences, home-school joint conferences, parents' think tanks, parents' festivals and other activities. Every semester, we commend outstanding parents volunteers and outstanding parents' nursing posts and publicize parents' deeds.
The content of "supervising and inspecting personnel" is specific.
From 20 13, the parent-resident system was tried out in Airport Xincheng Primary School in Yubei District, and two resident parents were hired to supervise the school every day to perform the duties of "supervision, supervision and supervision". The school set up a project department to supervise parents. According to the overall arrangement of school work and the way of semester rotation, parents of students will select and determine the candidates for parental supervision after voluntary application, and arrange full-time staff to be responsible for the overall coordination of parental supervision. The school has three levels of family committees: school level, grade level and class level. The school-level family committee consists of a parent inspector group, a parent lecturer group and a parent volunteer group. The school-level family Committee has formulated the regulations on the work of parents' committees, the system of parents' supervision office and other parental supervision rules and regulations. The articles of association of the school are written into the parental custody clause, and the work flow and norms of parental custody are clarified.
Resident parent inspectors are given responsibilities and rights similar to those of school administrators. Every day, from welcoming children to school in the morning, escorting them after school in the afternoon, to teaching and research activities and comprehensive activities after school, parents who live in the school should participate in the whole process and perform their duties of supervision, supervision and supervision.
Supervision is to supervise, inspect and guide the school's administration according to law, openness of school affairs, school development planning, evaluation of education and teaching quality and voluntary service.
Supervision education is to experience the "423+" education and teaching activities of the school in the whole process. "4" means having classes with students, doing exercises between classes, patrolling between classes and checking the teacher's office in the morning; "2" means having lunch with teachers and students at noon and studying in the book bar; "3" refers to three things: check the teacher's class in the afternoon, check the students' homework, and complete the supervision summary; "+"refers to escorting children to leave the campus after school, participating in teaching and research activities and sports activities, filling out supervision reports, and uploading the major events and good things that happened at school that day to the QQ group of schools and classes in time.
The inspector will be divided into five specific contents: first, use the school website and class QQ group to introduce the main points of knowledge that students need to master, guide parents to assist their children in learning, organize parents' discussions, and help other parents improve their children's learning skills; The second is to encourage parents to participate in parent-child activities such as "reading a book together" and "attending classes together" at school; The third is to remind parents to take their children to bookstores and libraries on weekends and holidays, and to visit nearby museums and science and technology museums. Fourth, guide parents to design holiday family lessons and build family culture; The fifth is to set up school-based elective courses according to parents' own specialties and teach "parent charm class"
"Co-education, Co-construction and Win-win" education for all employees
As typical representatives of "parental supervision" in Chongqing, Qinglong Road Primary School in Nan 'an District and Airport Xincheng Primary School in Yubei District extensively involve parents in school management, education and teaching activities and cultural construction, supervise and guide school development, fully respect parents' right to speak about school education, stimulate parents' positive energy in school development, promote the construction of modern school system featuring "social participation", and realize a win-win situation of home-school co-education and school supervision and development. Their practices are being imitated and improved by many local schools.
