Abstract: As a supplement and expansion of collective activities, regional activities have become an important activity form for kindergartens to implement quality education and promote preschool education reform. In order to realize the greatest educational value of regional activities, we have been exploring ways and measures to effectively combine theme activities with regional activities. Through some cases in teaching and scientific research practice, this paper discusses how to effectively combine theme activities with regional activities from two aspects: regional environment and regional activity setting.

Theme activities are an important organizational form of kindergarten curriculum, and regional activities, as a supplement and expansion of collective activities, have become an important activity form for kindergartens to implement quality education and promote preschool education reform. However, in the past, thematic activities and regional activities were often carried out independently, lacking relevance and mutual assistance, and failed to play their due maximum educational value.

Today, with the great strides in preschool education reform, we will re-examine theme activities and regional activities and explore their effective combination. This paper will talk about how to effectively combine theme activities with regional activities with some cases in the teaching and scientific research practice of our park.

Thematic activities and regional activities are both important parts of children's daily life, which can be regarded as an organic whole and serve children's development. Therefore, the environment corresponding to the activity should also be regarded as a whole, built around the theme goal, so that the theme environment is consistent with the regional environment.
