Xindai Village is located in Taigu County, at the west of 108 national highway 10 km, 55 km away from Taiyuan, with convenient transportation and excellent location advantages. There are 2,654 people in the village, all over 75 years old, all of whom have medical insurance, and all the freshmen respond to the national family planning policy. There are 760 households in the village with 3,400 mu of cultivated land. Newly-built primary schools 1 school, 2 beauty salons, 2 bath centers, 5 health centers, information network cultural stations 1 school, love education foundation 1 school, farmers' fitness center 1 school, 3 convenience chain stores, 98% village telephones, 98% color TVs and 30 computers. More than 80% of the star-rated civilized households and 95% of the rural population have an average education period of more than 9 years. The main streets in the village are hardened, green, purified and lighted. In the past two years, the total rural economic income of the village has reached 700 million yuan, the total industrial and agricultural output value has reached 800 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers has reached 6000 yuan.
