Impression of Chiang Mai International School
1. 18 ? Wednesday? [Place Name] (Thailand) Chiang Mai

NIS is the last international school I visited in Chiang Mai. After visiting three schools, I got a general understanding of international education in Chiang Mai.

Three days' harvest

CMIS, Apis and NIS are located in different areas of Chiang Mai, some in quiet mountainous areas, and some are only five minutes away from the bustling ancient city of Chiang Mai, but they have many similarities.

For example, these schools include kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools. Unlike China, this middle school has classes. Each class has a fixed teacher and a fixed course, and students go to special classrooms to attend classes.

The school attaches great importance to comprehensive grades. There are all kinds of physical education class, such as swimming, basketball, football, volleyball and even gyms. The school's art courses are also great. I watched the rehearsal of the student band in CMIS, and the students' lockers were full of NIS instruments. The teacher told me that these are all school courses. I also saw oil paintings and steel wire sculptures hanging on the wall. Their creativity and level are far beyond my imagination. I think, if I were in China, I would definitely go to extracurricular interest classes.

Many people always think that foreign schools are easy to learn, but in fact, if you want to get good grades, you have to pay the same. I have a friend who goes to school in NIS. She works very hard. Studying in an international school requires a lot of information and books. Teachers are very strict, even more difficult than studying in schools in China.

Language is an important tool.

When I visited CMIS and APIS, I was received by a teacher who could speak Chinese. But when I arrived in NIS, there were some minor problems-China translator had to leave, and the local teacher communicated with me directly in English. English, which I have always been proud of, has now become knowledge in books. I heard the words "visa" and "school year" for the first time. The teacher has to repeat it several times before I can react. I should watch more English documentaries, watch news and learn some useful words in life. English is a tool, so we must learn it flexibly and use it properly.

English writing is also our weakness in China. One is that the vocabulary is not enough, and the other is that we can't find suitable sentence patterns to express it. To strengthen these aspects, you can read more books and write more imitations. When I first started to learn Chinese writing, I often imitated it with wonderful paragraphs in books. For me now, English imitation may also be a useful method, and I am willing to try.

In NIS, I saw students studying Khan Academy courses, and I came into contact with them in China. This reminds me that the world is flat and there are too many learning resources to use. I want to be more imaginative and creative by studying. I want to keep my passion for progress. Passion can make you happy in the process of persistence, and vitality can make you happier in persistence. A passionate person will never be defeated! No matter where I am in the world, success belongs to those who are prepared.
