How do people from non-English-speaking countries in Europe learn English (see supplementary question for details)
In non-English-speaking countries in Europe, such as Germany (which belongs to the Germanic language family with English), learning English is completely different from China's education, mainly with different emphases:

1. There is no separate phonetic lesson. When learning the basic conversation, some words will be listed and then read along.

2. We need to memorize words, just like we learn new Chinese words, except that people have a big language environment and don't need to memorize them like us. They have dictation.

Grammar can't be explained clearly in a short space. China's education does not emphasize grammar, that is, speaking more, watching more and listening more, and there will be more texts and a lot of cultural background explanations.

However, I personally think that the pronunciation and grammar in China education are very suitable for China people. After all, our language environment does not allow it, and the language families are too different, and the thinking mode is different.
