There are car accidents every year, especially this year.
Remember the "grand occasion" when ofo thundered and people lined up to refund the deposit in the cold wind?
Now, this scene is repeated.
Only this time, Thunder changed from bicycle sharing to education and training, and the queue changed from ordinary people to parents of students.
At the beginning, ofo headquarters could still find people, but no one at headquarters got a degree.
Yousheng Education is an established educational institution established in 1999. At the peak, there were more than 1200 campuses in China, with more than 2,000 full-time employees and nearly 20,000 part-time employees. At the peak, the annual revenue was more than 3 billion.
However, according to incomplete statistics, there are hundreds of millions of tuition fees in arrears, and teachers and sales salaries are countless.
Parents who queue up at the door to defend their rights generally have refunds ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands. Those who sell their only house to pay for their children's education are losing their houses now.
But they didn't wait for the face-to-face response from founder Chen Hao, but later responded through live broadcast.
While sobbing, he blamed the failure on the epidemic and kept promising that he would not run away. He also published a long article calling on Ma Yun, Ma and Liu He to lend a helping hand.
But the question that parents are most concerned about is: Where did the money go? When will the money be refunded?
He didn't say anything.
What a good performing artist. He should compete for the Oscar.
0 1
When I wrote about Chen Ou in the "Lost Boss" series, I once commented that he preferred to be a "star" in the spotlight rather than an entrepreneur.
Chen Hao, who participated in the job search program "It's All You" with him and worked as a "boss representative", actually enjoyed the aura of "successful entrepreneur".
People who have seen that program should have the same impression of him: aloof and aggressive.
He is always playing tricks on people, mocking job seekers and doing things according to his own subjective thinking. Zhang Shaogang, the host, once commented on him directly: Chen Hao is like a mad dog.
However, such a person is also the owner of an educational institution.
Perhaps because his father is a mathematician and his mother is a scientist, and both of them are doctoral supervisors, Chen Hao thinks he should continue the family tradition and become a teacher.
So I began to do education and training in 1999. After that, he founded Win Education, focusing on offline K 12 (primary school to high school) one-on-one personalized counseling.
However, the operation mode of educational institutions has long deviated from the essence of "teaching and educating people" and is more like a platform for "collecting money":
There are more sales teachers than lecturers here.
Not to mention one-on-one, even small class teaching is difficult to achieve.
The boss is not thinking about how to improve teaching quality and expand courses, but how to develop new campuses.
They use various discounts to get parents to sign long-term bills. After the new campus is quickly restored to its original state, they will take out spare money to develop the new campus and continue to collect money. If you want to shop faster, switch to the joining mode.
Bosses just want to expand quickly and get money quickly, but they don't realize the potential risks.
After this victory, Chen Hao threw the pot to the franchisees and the epidemic in the live broadcast.
Undoubtedly, the epidemic has a great impact on offline training institutions.
But in my opinion, is the anti-risk ability of an old-fashioned educational institution that started in 1999 really that weak?
Just because of an epidemic, or what's wrong?
From the live broadcast, we can see:
20 18-20 19 developed too fast. Winner Education Nearly half of the campuses in China were forced to relocate and decorate because they did not meet the national standards, resulting in a large amount of capital consumption; In order to reduce the negative impact, starting the green refund channel also affects cash flow.
It looks great, but in the final analysis, isn't it because of the reaction of blind expansion?
He said that when the epidemic broke out, the revenue was only a quarter of the previous one, but they didn't lay off employees or pay wages. Many franchisees took over more than 80 campuses when they were forced to run away. This led to a cash flow crisis.
Chen Hao is sincere, just like a good boss who burns himself for others.
But that's not what the staff said
Since last year, the performance of award-winning teachers has changed from a fixed class fee to a divided model.
Starting from February and March 2020, a large number of employees in basic positions will be laid off collectively.
Teachers' salaries are also in arrears, and teachers' teaching level should be continuously improved. If they fail to reach it, they will be deducted.
In addition, they began to look for tutors to do sales and give them indicators to sell classes. If you can't sell it, you will continue to deduct money.
Who is the most important educational institution? Not the boss, but the teacher.
When the company squeezes the interests of teachers again and again, the direct result is that the number of award-winning teachers has dropped sharply, and no teacher is willing to come to class.
Where are the students without teachers?
In addition, the wave of refunds began last year.
According to the fire eye survey, Yousheng Education has received three consumption warnings, 1, 248 external risks, issued by the blacklist of Haidian Market Supervision Bureau, and China Judgment Document Network also shows 1, 75 documents about Yousheng Education.
What is the reason? An established educational institution can't keep up with its educational ability.
They pay too much attention to the sales in the previous section, and many teachers behind them don't even have teacher qualification certificates.
The problem of teaching quality was quickly exposed, and students could not be retained at all, and no new students could be recruited. As a result, the natural grades are less and the refund fee is more.
And the most irritating thing is:
Just a few days before the thunder and the rain, Yousheng was still frantically pushing preferential courses. Many parents paid the money without knowing the situation, and within a few days, the campus was closed.
This is just a campus contradiction, and behind this:
10 year 10 month 14 day, before the thunder, Chen Hao transferred the legal person to his mother.
He said that he was worried that he could not get a loan because of labor arbitration, but before the change of legal person, he established Taizhou Niushilai Education Technology Co., Ltd. and registered several new companies last year.
These actions inevitably make people feel that he first absorbed the registration fee through discount, and after a while, he announced poor management, so that the legal person declared the original company bankrupt. But in fact, I quietly transferred all the funds and prepared to run away.
But Chen Hao denied this.
He said that he is doing online education, and he will not run away. He also wants to solve this problem.
But he still didn't mention where all the money went, but pinned his hopes on investors. He named a bunch of big names in the circle, saying that as long as someone can take over: "About 50 million in Beijing can be solved, and 654.38 billion in the country can be completely solved."
This is very interesting. Does he really think investors are stupid?
You will find that this is not an epidemic pot at all.
However, in recent years, Chen Hao's blind expansion and chaotic management have led to a worse winning reputation.
Look at the parents' reaction, and you will know that what everyone wants now is not to start classes, but to get money back.
The educational institution industry itself does not win by scale, but should first be "word of mouth".
When word-of-mouth declines, isn't the money invested by investors the same as water?
02
In fact, you will find that there are too many "Chen Hao" in the education and training circle.
There are too many mine blasting training schools in recent years. In the final analysis, the problems are still those points: too much emphasis on marketing, blind expansion and chaotic management.
Basically, it is to rob people by crazy marketing, and then expand crazily with advance payment.
In management, we don't care about the quality of teaching at all, but exaggerate the teaching results and treat parents as fools.
As a result, everyone is making "quick money". In case of unexpected events, the prepayment mode is easy to collapse instantly.
Behind this, at a deeper level, I think it is deceptive for schools to reduce students' burden now.
Originally, the school arranged as usual, and the teacher gave classes to the students normally, and nothing happened.
However, the Ministry of Education requires that the burden be reduced, parents cannot pick up their children in advance, and the way of selecting talents remains unchanged. So, isn't it the crazy extracurricular tutoring industry that benefits?
I read a statistical report before. As early as 20 16, the market scale of extracurricular tutoring industry has exceeded 800 billion yuan, with 654.38+37 million students participating. The number of students taking part in extracurricular tutoring in China accounts for 36.7% of the total number of students in school. In some first-and second-tier cities, this figure is as high as 70%.
Reducing the burden has spawned the business explosion of extracurricular training institutions, but the supervision of training institutions has not kept up.
It is always difficult for training institutions to refund.
In case of sudden thunder, most of parents' money can only be wasted.
20 19 Up to now, 32 educational institutions in China have "closed down" and "run away".
Isn't there a better way of supervision besides letting parents admit that they are unlucky and have a little conscience for bosses who rely on these thunder measures?
03
15 years, Chen cursed the school and said:
"No matter how difficult it is to start a business, it can't be deceiving people and employees. These runners also sentenced themselves to death from the moment they evaded their responsibilities and hurt others. "
Now, he lied to people, lied to employees, but claimed not to run.
He didn't say how to solve it and when to refund the money.
He will only refer to everyone as his live broadcast in Tik Tok.
Is he going to set up a "real man" like Luo Yonghao, harvest a batch of traffic, and then start to switch to live programs with goods?
In my opinion, it is entirely possible, because he loves the play so much after all.
However, unlike Luo Yonghao, Luo Yonghao has a group of faithful believers. Can the students in his training institution trust him?
Or did he succeed on his own online education platform?
I don't think it's possible. After all, there are too many online education platforms now. Are there any investors willing to vote for him who has lost his reputation?
But I still hope he can turn over.
After all, you still have to pay back the money!
