The National Experimental Zone for Comprehensive Reform of Higher Vocational Education is the only experimental zone for comprehensive reform of higher vocational education approved by the Ministry of Education in June 20 10, located in Deyang City, Sichuan Province. According to the principle of "government-led, provincial and municipal co-construction, enterprise participation and school undertaking", the project carried out reform experiments from eight aspects: deepening provincial and municipal co-construction, exploring management mechanism, improving investment mechanism, deepening school-enterprise cooperation, expanding independent education, reforming talent training mode, improving social service ability and enhancing school social responsibility.

The experimental area consists of two national demonstration higher vocational colleges, sichuan college of architectural technology and Sichuan Institute of Engineering and Technology. Two provincial demonstration vocational colleges: Sichuan Judicial Police Vocational College and Sichuan Aerospace Vocational and Technical College, 1 provincial vocational colleges: Sichuan Nursing Vocational College, 1 private vocational colleges: Sichuan Industrial Management Vocational College. There are 6 higher vocational colleges in Deyang city, which are jointly built with governments at all levels. The main projects are embodied in Sichuan Construction Vocational Education Group, Sichuan Project Industry-University-Research Garden Construction Project and other construction projects.
