1. The College of Continuing Education of Sichuan Normal University is the department in charge of coordinating the continuing education activities of all members of society after school-based education. For more than half a century, under the guidance of the school-running concept of "continuous learning and Excellence", the school-running models of "Trinity" and "123" (one core and two) of academic education, non-academic education and lifelong education research have been formed.

Second, the College of Continuing Education of Sichuan Normal University has a long history. Adult higher education has been held since 1956 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. At the same time, our school is also one of the earliest institutions in Sichuan Province to hold higher education self-study exams, with a history of more than 30 years. In 2005, the school was identified by the Sichuan Provincial Self-taught Examination Committee as the first batch of pilot colleges connecting ordinary higher vocational colleges with self-taught examinations, and in 2008, it was identified as the first batch of self-taught examination learning service centers in Sichuan Province.

Third, according to the requirements of "standardizing management, improving quality, transforming development and building brand", the college carries out continuing education of higher education. Under the guidance of "three norms and three transformations", the college standardized the site management and talent training scheme, paid attention to connotative development, and formulated the teaching mode of "844" course, which made the site reasonably distributed in types, levels and regions, and the teaching methods and means feasible. Standardize system construction, form a "5+ 1" system, standardize school-running behavior, and guard against school-running risks.
