He Xiuchao introduced that in 20 17, the number of scientific accounting degrees, classes, schools, faculty, construction land and capital investment in various places needed to solve the problem of large class size, and special plans and work plans were formulated.
Local governments at all levels should implement the main responsibility of funding, fully tap the resources of educational land, co-ordinate the construction projects of compulsory education schools, build, renovate and expand campus school buildings in accordance with the class size standards stipulated by the state, focus on solving the problem of large class sizes in cities and towns, and accelerate the elimination of existing large class sizes; Through reasonable delineation of enrollment scope, trial implementation of district system management, standardization of enrollment procedures, implementation of sunshine enrollment, improvement of student status management and other measures, compulsory education will be fully implemented without taking an exam to enter the school nearby, the number of students enrolled in schools exceeding the standard will be limited, and students will be rationally diverted.
He Xiuchao introduced that after hard work, the phenomenon of large class size in compulsory education was obviously alleviated compared with the previous year.
He Xiuchao also pointed out that from the situation of supervision and evaluation in 20 17 years, although some achievements have been made, there is still a certain gap with the people's demand for running compulsory education well.
