Xinye Secondary Vocational School was founded in 1988 and 1994. 1995 was approved as a vocational secondary school by the provincial education department, renamed as a secondary vocational school by the municipal education bureau in 2006, and passed the acceptance of provincial demonstration vocational schools in 2006. The majors offered are: computer application and electromechanical technology application.
